Role Summary:
The Revenue Cycle Management Manager at Compass is responsible for overseeing and analyzing the financial performance of the revenue cycle process for the organization’s Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). This role ensures the efficiency of external RCM company operations by monitoring revenue cycle functions, analyzing trends, and providing strategic financial insights to improve financial performance.

Key Responsibilities:

• Revenue Cycle Oversight – Monitor the performance of external RCM partners, ensuring compliance with company objectives and financial targets.

• Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) such as accounts receivable (AR) aging, cash flow, reimbursement trends, and collections efficiency.

• Financial Analysis & Reporting – Investigate revenue cycle discrepancies and trends, preparing detailed financial reports with actionable insights for leadership.

• Billing & Collections Review – Identify patterns in claims, denials, and collections to drive operational improvements and optimize revenue capture.

• Forecasting & Budgeting – Assist in annual budget preparation and forecasting for revenue cycle operations. Track financial performance relative to targets.

• Problem-Solving – Utilize critical thinking to address revenue cycle challenges, implementing corrective measures to enhance efficiency and financial recovery.

• Ad-Hoc Financial Analysis – Conduct financial modeling and ad-hoc analysis to support strategic initiatives and special projects.

• Operational Efficiency & Compliance – Collaborate with internal teams (billing, coding, compliance) to ensure regulatory adherence (e.g., HIPAA) and process optimization.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or certifications (CPA, CMA) preferred.

• Experience: 2-4 years of experience in financial analysis, preferably within healthcare revenue cycle management.

• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, advanced functions), financial software (e.g., Epic, Cerner, Workday), and data analytics tools.

• Industry Knowledge: Understanding of healthcare billing, coding, reimbursement processes, and compliance regulations.
