About the Role:

We’re looking for a strategic and hands-on leader to drive operational excellence and growth across a portfolio of cardiovascular-focused Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs). This role is ideal for someone who thrives in building new facilities, optimizing performance, and developing trusted partnerships with cardiovascular surgeons.

What You’ll Do:

Develop New Cardiovascular ASCs

• Oversee the launch of at least two de novo ASCs annually—on time and within budget.
• Collaborate with development teams to meet all regulatory, design, and operational milestones.
• Ensure new centers are positioned to achieve financial sustainability within their first year.

Drive Operational Excellence

• Lead operational performance to exceed 25% EBITDA margins.
• Ensure all centers maintain full regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Optimize workflows to increase case throughput by 15% year over year.

Engage Surgeons & Migrate Cases

• Build strong, lasting relationships with CV surgeons.
• Successfully transition 20% of hospital cases to ASCs each year.
• Drive physician satisfaction above 90% and increase referrals by 10% annually.

Lead High-Performing Teams

• Hire, develop, and retain exceptional administrators and clinical staff.
• Achieve employee satisfaction scores above 85% and retention rates of 90%+ for key roles.
• Promote a collaborative, excellence-driven culture across all teams.

What You’ll Bring:

• 10+ years in healthcare operations, ideally within cardiovascular ASCs or Cath Labs.
• Clinical background such as RN preferred.
• Proven experience launching new ASCs and transitioning hospital cases.
• Strong financial acumen and a track record of operational success.
• Excellent leadership and relationship-building skills with physicians and stakeholders.
• Experience working in private equity–backed or multi-state healthcare environments is a plus.
