Compass Surgical Partners is seeking a Talent Acquisition Specialist to drive recruitment efforts, support onboarding, and contribute to a strong company culture across our growing network of Ambulatory Surgery Centers (ASCs).
What You’ll Do:
Recruitment & Hiring
- Source and engage with candidates using a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, networking, and industry events.
- Utilize the A-Method hiring process, including scorecard creation and structured interviews, to ensure consistent, objective, and competency-based candidate evaluation aligned with role success criteria.
- Screen resumes, coordinate interview scheduling with candidates and hiring managers, conduct initial screening calls for assigned roles, and maintain ongoing communication with candidates throughout the recruiting process to create a seamless, world-class candidate experience.
- Assist in building role role scorecards and job descriptions and maintaining current information for all positions.
- Support the Director in developing and executing a strategic hiring plan to attract top-tier talent to Compass Surgical Partners.
- Partner closely with hiring managers to understand their staffing needs and ensure alignment with business goals.
- Assist with key stages of the recruiting process for ASC based roles, including candidate sourcing, interview coordination, and offer support.
- Oversee the applicant tracking system (ATS), ensuring candidate records are accurate, tracking key recruitment metrics, and generating reports to help leadership assess the effectiveness of our recruiting efforts.
- Communicate with candidates throughout the hiring process, keeping them informed and engaged.
Onboarding & New Hire Experience
- Support People Services leadership in building and executing a top-tier onboarding process.
- Coordinate pre-employment tasks, such as background checks and required documentation.
- Ensure new hires receive the necessary training materials, resources, and onboarding schedules ahead of their start date and act as a point of contact for new employees, answering questions and guiding them through their first weeks.
- Gather feedback from new hires to improve the onboarding experience.
Culture & Employee Experience
- Support initiatives that strengthen Compass’ culture, vision, and mission to create an engaging and collaborative workplace.
- Collaborate with People Services leadership to develop and implement onboarding initiatives that promote company culture, foster employee engagement, and support the retention of top talent.
What You Bring:
- Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration, or related field.
- Proven experience in talent acquisition, recruitment, or a related HR function.
- Strong knowledge of recruitment best practices, including direct sourcing, social recruiting, and employer branding.
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills to engage with candidates and internal stakeholders.
- Ability to manage multiple open positions while ensuring a positive candidate experience.
- Experience working with an Applicant Tracking System (ATS) strongly preferred.
- Strong organizational skills to coordinate interview scheduling with multiple stakeholders efficiently.
- Knowledge of and/or willingness to learn employment laws and hiring compliance requirements.
- Attention to detail and the ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment.
