Location: Horizon Surgery Center Beaches – Jacksonville Beach, FL

Horizon Surgery Center Beaches, located on the Baptist Medical Center campus, is a physician-led ambulatory surgery center focused on high-quality, patient-centered outpatient care. Role Summary:
The Director of Nursing (DON) oversees all nursing services and clinical operations, ensuring safe, efficient, and high-quality care. This full-time, exempt leadership role supervises a dynamic clinical team and manages patient care for outpatient surgeries, including Neurosurgery, Orthopedics, Plastics, and General procedures across 3 operating rooms.

Hours:
Full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–3:00 PM (hours may vary based on center needs).

What You’ll do:

• Lead and manage nursing and clinical teams.
• Maintain high standards of patient care, safety, and infection control.
• Ensure regulatory and accreditation compliance.
• Oversee staffing, scheduling, and supply management.
• Collaborate with physicians and administration to support center goals.
• Serve as administrative leader in the Administrator’s absence.

What You’ll bring:

• Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and PALS certifications.
• Bachelor’s degree preferred.
• 2+ years of nursing leadership, preferably in outpatient surgery.
• Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
