Role Summary:

As a Surgical Scrub Technologist, you’ll play a critical role in supporting safe, efficient surgical procedures by preparing the operating room, maintaining sterile technique, and assisting the surgical team during cases. You’ll work closely with surgeons, nurses, and other OR staff to ensure optimal patient care and outcomes.

Hours: Full-time; 7:00 am-3:30 pm will vary based on surgical volume. No weekends, holidays, or call required (unless otherwise specified by location).

What You’ll do:

• Prepare ORs with necessary equipment, instruments, and supplies based on physician preference cards.
• Maintain sterile field and handle instruments safely and efficiently.
• Anticipate surgical team needs and respond promptly during procedures.
• Ensure proper handling of contaminated materials and assist with room turnover.
• Participate in decontamination and sterilization of instruments.
• Uphold patient privacy and safety standards at all times.
• Communicate effectively with team members and contribute to a positive OR culture.

What You’ll bring:

• Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program.
• Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) or eligible/registered per state requirements.
• Minimum of 1 year OR scrub experience preferred in ASC environment.
• Current CPR certification (or obtained within 6 months of hire).
• Strong knowledge of surgical instruments, sterile technique, and procedural flow.
• Excellent teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Physical & Work Environment Requirements:

• Regularly required to stand for long periods and lift/move up to 25 lbs.
• Exposure to bodily fluids, infectious materials, chemicals, and OR noise.
• Requires manual dexterity, visual acuity, and ability to wear PPE for extended periods.
• May involve occasional kneeling, crouching, and reaching.
